Hello — I'm Mohammad Nadi. I believe municipal government must be efficient, participatory and forward-looking. I want to bring responsible AI into city processes to speed up permitting, improve maintenance, and make information easier to understand for every resident.

My Plan — Practical steps for DDO

Short, concrete actions using modern tools

1. Open Data & Smart Permits

Publish more municipal datasets and streamline permitting using automation to shorten wait times and improve planning.

2. Predictive Maintenance

Use AI models to schedule road, pipe and park maintenance before problems get worse — saving taxpayer dollars.

3. Transparent Decision Tools

Any AI used will have simple public explanations: what it does, what data it uses, and how residents can appeal decisions.

4. Citizen Services & Inclusion

Chat-based tools for 24/7 information (bilingual), and assisted access at community centres to avoid leaving residents behind.

These projects will be pilot-first, co-designed with residents, and evaluated publicly.
